The postal and stamp history of Lebanon, a state in Western Asia on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea with its capital at Beirut, spans the period of the Ottoman Empire, French military occupation, French Mandatory Territory and the Lebanese Republic. Lebanon has been a member of the Universal Postal Union since 1946.
