Collectors have always considered specimens of securities more expensive than ordinary securities. The samples were issued on the same paper, the same format as a regular security paper, only in the center, in large (usually in most cases) red letters, was the overprint “SAMPLE”. But in the denomination and number columns there were usually zeros. These papers were usually issued for the stands of banks, trusts, and savings banks. Nowadays, samples are very popular among collectors.
