Faleristics - collecting breast medals, orders, medallions, awards and badges. The name comes from the Latin "phalerae" - phalara - a metal plaque, which is an award and decoration at the same time - the award of Roman legionnaires.
Most often they collect military awards and commemorative medals and insignia. In addition, falerists collect tabletop medals and badges.
