Ukrainian stocks and bonds
The first securities market organized in Ukraine was the Ukrainian Stock Exchange, which was registered on October 29, 1991 in the form of a closed joint stock company and from 1998 to 2008 had the status of a self-regulatory organization. The Ukrainian Stock Exchange played an important role in the privatization processes in Ukraine.
