In March 1921, Soviet Russia began issuing silver coins, which were equal in quality to the corresponding denominations of Tsarist Russia. Silver rubles of the RSFSR with new revolutionary symbols were minted in 1921–1922. But coins were not put into circulation until 1924, since the necessary cash reserves were being created. They entered circulation on February 28, 1924.
Rarer coins of this type are 10, 15, 20, 50 kopecks from 1921 and the ruble from 1922, their price is 2-3 times higher than similar coins from other years of issue. The price of a 1923 chervonets in good condition is about $1000-1500.
