On May 1, 1974, coins in the 1st and 2nd eras and coins in the 5th era, issued before 1973, were withdrawn from circulation. On January 1, 1984, coins in the 5th and 25th era were confiscated, and on January 23, 1992, in the 10th era. On September 16, 1996, coins in the 50 era, issued in 1874 - 1996, were withdrawn, and the production of coins in the 50 era of a new type began. Since May 1, 2012, coins in the 50 era have also been withdrawn from circulation. Currently, coins are in circulation in denominations of 1, 5, 10 and 20 crowns.
