The minting of 1 rapen coins was discontinued in 2006, and the 2 rapen coins were discontinued in 1974. Changes in coin metals: 1939 - 20 rapens made of copper-nickel alloy (1850-1859 - billon, 1881 - 1938 - nickel); 1968 - 1/2, 1, 2 and 5 francs in copper-nickel alloy (formerly silver); 1981 - 5 rapens made of copper-aluminum-nickel alloy (formerly copper-nickel alloy). Commemorative and commemorative coins are also issued. All coins are minted in Switzerland.
