Kyrgyzstan
The national currency of Kyrgyzstan is the Kyrgyz som. 1 som is equal to 100 tyiyn. The coin with a face value of 1 tiyn was issued only for sets and is not found in circulation. Coins of 10 and 50 tiyns are also practically never found in circulation. Basic everyday coins, in denominations of 1, 3, 5, 10 soms. Commemorative and commemorative coins are issued by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic from precious (gold - in denominations of 100 and 200 soms and silver - in denominations of 10 soms) and non-precious (copper-nickel alloy - in denominations of 1 and 5 soms) metals, starting in 1995.
