Kazakhstan
The official currency of Kazakhstan is the Kazakhstani tenge. There are coins of 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 tiyns and 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 tenge. Anniversary and commemorative coins are issued by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan from precious ones (999 gold - in denominations of 50, 100, 500, 1000, 50,000 and 100,000 tenge, 925 silver - in denominations of 100, 500, 1000 and 5000 tenge and bimetallic silver / tantalum - with a face value of 500 tenge) and non-precious metals (nickel silver - with a face value of 20, 50 and 100 tenge and bimetallic nickel silver / nickel silver with a face value of 100 tenge). All issued coins are legal tender, but only coins in denominations of 20, 50 and 100 tenge made of non-precious metals are used in real money circulation.
