In the Kingdom of Bahrain, the official currency is the Dinar. It is equal to 1000 fils. Fils are the currency of the kingdom. There are coins in denominations of 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 and 500 fils. Since 1965, a total of 4 commemorative coins made from inexpensive metals have been issued.
