Afghanistan
In Afghanistan, the official currency is the Afghani, equal to 100 pulas. Until 1926, the currency was the Rupee.
In this country there are 3 types of coins: 1, 2 and 5 Afghanis. A pool is a copper coin of the Golden Horde, which was minted between the 13th and 15th centuries. Therefore, it is only considered a bargaining chip for Afghanistan.
Very few commemorative and commemorative coins were issued in Afghanistan. For example, between 1920 and 1929, during the reign of Amanullah Khan, the Amani gold coin was minted. During this time, coins were minted with a denomination of 0.5; 1; 2; 2.5 and 5 Amani. In 1925, Puls began to be minted, which were equal to 1/100 of an Afghani. One Amani was equal to 20 Afghanis or 2000 pulas.
