The railway is one of the areas of collecting. Many people collect these types of railroads. Under the Soviet Union, various railway models were sold in central children's stores. The set included steam locomotives, electric trains, trains, rails, traffic lights, switches and many other attributes associated with the railway. Accessories for it could be purchased separately. The German company PIKO competed mainly in the USSR market for railway models. It mainly produced rails and trains for them with a width of 9 and 16 mm. To this day, model railways are worth a lot of money and are popular among collectors.
