Easter or the Resurrection of Christ, the Bright Resurrection of Christ is the oldest and most important Christian holiday.
Established in honor of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ - the center of all biblical history and the foundation of all Christian teaching. In Orthodoxy, the status of Easter as the main holiday is reflected in the words “of holidays, a holiday and a triumph of celebrations.”
