The history of mail and postage stamps in Armenia is divided into periods corresponding to the postal systems of the states that included Armenia (Russian Empire, Trans-SFSR, USSR), independent state formations of the early 20th century, and independent Armenia since 1992. Armenia has been a member of the Universal Postal Union since 1992.
