And after that, most of the miniatures were part of joint releases between Portugal and its colonies. From 1951, attractive thematic series began to be published. Since independence, the country's philatelic policy has been consistently restrained in the Manambo area. In 1995, Mozambique became a member of the Commonwealth of Nations.
