The history of mail and postage stamps of the Republic of the Congo describes the development of postal services in the Republic of the Congo, a former French colony formerly part of the French Congo, then known as Middle Congo, and now an independent state in Central Africa with its capital in Brazzaville. The Republic of the Congo has been a member of the Universal Postal Union since 1961.
