Perhaps the most interesting stamp issues of this country among collectors. Burkina Faso issued postage stamps in honor of singer Michael Jackson, among other pop stars, on May 14, 1996, although the miniatures themselves are dated 1995. A stamp with a portrait of Jackson opened the series, had a face value of 150 francs and was issued in small and large sheets: one stamp each measuring 125 × 100 mm and four stamps each measuring 125 × 165 mm.
