At the beginning of 1924, the first all-Soviet money appeared with the coat of arms of the USSR in denominations from 10 thousand to 25 thousand rubles.
An interesting fact is that 1000 ruble bills. were released already in 1992, when the USSR had actually ceased to exist. These paper money were also distinguished by the denomination written in the form of an arc. USSR banknotes of the 1961 model continued to circulate even after the release of new banknotes in 1991. In 1992, the Soviet Union broke up into many separate republics, each of which began issuing its own paper money.
