Since 1922, the first standardized paper money of the RSFSR began to be issued. On the bills themselves it was indicated that 1 ruble of the 1922 model was exchanged for 10,000 rubles, which were issued in earlier periods. Banknotes of various denominations differed in denomination and color, but they had several common features: repeatedly (up to 8 times) repeated denomination numbers on the obverse, located on the front side: the coat of arms, an indication of the provision of all the property of the republic, as well as the series and issue number. In February-March 1923, a second denomination was carried out (1:100), circulation was supplemented by a new issue of banknotes. And only in the fall the old issues of money are canceled, but by that time the new ones are practically worthless.
