I painted this picture at the beginning of the year, but it reflects today's Ukraine. My morning on the 24th began with the words "wake up, the war has begun." I cannot put into words all the fear that I have experienced during all this time. All the time I was in Kyiv, enemy tanks drove past my house, and one day I heard an explosion that destroyed a shopping center and the windows trembled in the apartment. The men in my family are all in this war. And I pray for the lives of every soldier in our country and believe in our victory
